When you feel like everything is too much, what do you do? Some days I escape into my favorite music, or movies. It's a bit rough, when you feel overwhelmed, but when that hits me, I feel weak and foolish. So many have given so much, and I'm going to complain? Might be simplistic, but I get the notion that in our minds, we are all heroes, villians, or victims.

Election is over, America has spoken. I will bet you a dollar to a donut-hole, that this brief flirtation with Socialism will be the last the U.S. has to endure. 2010 will be a repeat of the Republican revolution of '94. Why? Buyer's remorse will sink in about the time that liberals realize that what they were promised...namely, lower taxes and better benefits...ain't happening. How to pay for all these wonderful campaign promises? Simple enough. First, raise taxes. Second, raise the retirement age. Third, cut SSI benefits. Fourth, tax disability benefits. Don't doubt that this will happen, and I'll tell you why. As long as the incline is gentle enough, you can lead the blind anywhere. After 8 years of rabid Bush hatred, the democrats will accept any indignity as long as it is cloaked in the guise of "repairing Bush's mistakes." If you are weary of hearing about President Bush, you will get no respite. He will be blamed, in absentia, for the next 4 years of Obama's ineffectiveness. That will be the cloak for our proud country's slide into dismal mediocrity. For my part, I'm going to be an activist. I shall not stand still for this type of subversion.
