As it was, so it shall be...
Lo and behold, Hillary Clinton is the huge frontrunner in the Democratic race for president. Ok, I called this in July. The only thing here that I find bizarre are the claims by her campaign that many Republicans are backing her. (It seems she, unlike Bill, DID inhale, otherwise this would be inexplicable.) I cannot picture even a RINO (Republican in name only) voting for her unless it had to do with threats against family, blackmail, etc.
The obvious solution, of course, is the Clinton political machine, with Sandy Burglar...umm, Berger back at the helm. The Clinton campaign uses the same techniques that Joe Stalin and Charles Manson used, to great efficacy: repeat a lie often enough, it becomes truth. For my part, I can't wait for Hill's next meltdown, when some intelligent news-snooper decides to play outside the party lines and throw her a few hardballs. (Chris Matthews is on the DL here, he couldn't pitch Little League.)
Republicans may get whacked around in the Senate this coming year, but the House will gain and the GOP wins the White House, courtesy of Fred Dalton Thompson. Thus shall it surely be.
