Happy Monday! Now that we have the pleasantries out of the way, time to get down to business. This whole brouhaha about the "Jena 6" makes me wonder just what the hell the world is coming to. Sorry, but if it was 6 white kids who damn near killed a black kid, there would be much hand-wringing by the white apologists, and calls for summary execution by the black enclave. Criminal acts deserve punishment. Hanging empty nooses in trees may be disgusting, but it isn't a crime. Filling them with necks IS. Likewise, assault with intent to kill or intent to do bodily harm IS a crime. I don't care how many idiots march on Louisiana, they are supporting criminals. These are probably some of O.J.'s supporters...anyone bother to poll them on where they stand on that? My money says at least half of them would think O.J. was railroaded. It's sad that we can't get angry at terrorists who killed 3000 of our own( of every ethnicity), but we can damn sure get riled up because of some alleged injustices against a minority. Let me see a million-man march against terrorism, against illegal immigration. The Minutemen are considered racist, but these ignorant yahoos are "supporting civil rights". Spare me. Dr. King must be spinning in his tomb by now. As I recall, he was partial to the notion that "all men" are created equal. Apparently, "all men" must be black, or brown, to be equal these days.
